Choosing the right moving service
Most moves combine two or three of the services above. Here's how they fit together and what they cost.
A condo move often pairs apartment moving with packing help for the kitchen. An office relocation usually means an evening or weekend slot plus disposal of furniture that isn't making the trip. A family heading to Canmore might book full packing and a flat-rate long-distance move. You don't have to work out the combination yourself — describe the move when you call and we'll suggest the crew size and extras that make sense.
Hourly services share the same published rates, and the truck is always included: $125/hr for two movers, $165/hr for three and $210/hr for four. A travel fee equal to one extra hour at your crew's rate covers getting the truck to you. Packing and storage are quoted separately, appliances and heavy items are priced per piece, and 5% GST is added at the end.
Every job is carried out by a licensed, WCB-insured crew, with cargo protection included in the rate. As Calgary movers who limit how many bookings we take each day, we'd rather tell you honestly which service you need than sell you one you don't.
